I am one of the co-founders of the PAFL (Philippine Australian Football League). I had only been in the Philippines for about 8 months when a friend, Peter Stone, and I decided enough was enough and that it was time to get some Aussie Rules action going here.

Although Stoney is a good footballer, I haven't played footy for about 20 years at competitive level and am not a great footy player by any stretch of the imagination.. However, I think Aussie Rules is the greatest game on earth and love the game. We both wanted to bring some fun and enjoyment to the many footy starved Aussies here in the Philippines, some of whom have been here so long that they haven't actually held or kicked a footy for decades! I am an avid Collingwood supporter and hopefully don't need to wait another 20 years for a grand final victory!

So that's it, that's my claim to fame. PAFL has had great success and is only gonna get bigger and better from here. We have developed a very strong core of people who also love the game and devote a lot of personal time to our cause here in the Philippines. We hope to see you here one day.
