Round six was a round where all the top teams flexed their muscles with massive wins.

Collingwood showed once again why they are the premier team in the competition this season keeping their perfect record intact, after they were able to take their game to the next level and win convincingly when challenged by the Western Bulldogs.

Adelaide Crows kicked their highest ever score of 13.7 (85) and almost scored the highest ever score in the competition, but were one point shy of the Western Bulldogs all-time score.

Collingwood's Chloe Molloy showed why she is a star of our game with her forward pressure and two goals when her Pies had all the momentum in the third term.

After six rounds, Molloy leads the AFLW goalkicking along with Erin Phillips and Gemma Houghton with 11 goals.

After a tight opening half, Collingwood came out and stamped their authority on the match in the third quarter with four goals to run out 36-point winners over the Western Bulldogs at Victoria Park on Sunday afternoon.

A four-game winning streak came to an end for the Dogs, after the Pies swooped with seven second quarter goals.

With the win the Pies have now won six in a row, as they reclaimed their spot as ladder leaders with the 7.9 (51) to 2.3 (15) victory at their spiritual home.

The Pies sent a message to the rest of the competition this afternoon that the premiership cup is there's for the taking after they steamrolled the Dogs in the second half.

The Dogs were left shellshocked and did not have any answers to stop the dominant performance from the Pies.

Changes to the configuration of elite women’s football in Victoria will for the first time see a full talent pathway program with the NAB League Girls, VFLW and AFLW competitions being played at the same time.

Ahead of Round 1 of the 2020 VFLW season this weekend we take a look at the international players that have landed list spots of five clubs.  In an open border situation with no Covid-19 issues, we could have expected more international talent in the VFLW.  Players such as April Lewis, Clara Fitzpatrick, Erin McLaughlin, and Jess Blecher are just a few who were on VFLW lists in 2019 who are not back in Melbourne to play.

After round four, only Fremantle and Collingwood remain undefeated.

Collingwood showed the rest of the competition that they are a strong premiership threat after they made light work of North Melbourne.

For the first time in Collingwood's AFLW history, they have had a 4-0 start to the season.

The match of the round was the Brisbane Lions and the Adelaide Crows, the match went down to the wire and Erin Phillips at 35-years-old showed us why she is the best with four goals.

Phillips proved the diference in the match, as the Lions were unable to stop her impact in the contest.

An entertaining match and a match where the Crows were determined to show that they are still a force to be reckoned with after their reality check last week at the hands of the Dockers.
